Well if any of you know me, you'll know that i like a challenge (with having 4 kids and all lol!) and when i was tagged by the lovely sparx and the wonderful potty mummy to do the rubbish diet's recycling pledge, a bit in side of me was like.......go on why not, I'll add it my small list of daily things to do!
I am a good girl and i do recycle all my bottles, newspapers, magazines, can and cardboard but i will hold my hands up and say i do not re-use my plastic bags. I have quite a few stylish shopping bags made of jute, etc but i always forget to take them with me (v.naughty!). So my pledge is to re-use my carrier bags. To make this serious my forfeit is to not eat cookies again EVER!!!!!!
My husband will tell you that a have a serious cookie addiction (probably why my diet is not going too well, more on that later!) i love soft bakery ones, Maryland ones, domino's pizza cookies and the holy grail..... millies cookies. So if i don't keep to my pledge (starting Sunday) I am done for!!!
Here are the rules because if I'm doing this the rest of you have no where to hide ha ha ha!:
1. Visit http://www.recyclenow.com/ and sign up to one of the pledges to waste less.
2. Share the details of your pledge on your own blog.
3. Chose five other bloggers, who will also be up for a bit of recycling fun.
4. Come back to this post at The Rubbish Diet and share your pledge with others, by placing a link to your pledge in the comments field.
5. Optional - as a thank you to all involved The Rubbish Diet will be publishing a British Mummy Bloggers' Recycle Week carnival on Monday 29th June. To be included, simply submit your favourite post revealing the progress of your pledge by Saturday 27th June - email to karen[at]therubbishdiet[dot]co[dot]uk.
So here are my victims, sorry the chosen ones:
Rebel Mother- Just to give you something else to do!
Wife of bold - because like me i bet you've got lots of time on your hands lol!
Clarey babbling - Enjoy!
OMG we're pregnant- to get you ready for muti tasking!
Being a mummy- because I think your great!
Just to make mine a bit more interesting I've set my self another goal, its 3year old and 2year old's birthdays in 3 weeks so I've decided that i want to lose 6pounds in that time. I think it can be done i've lost 1st 1lb already but i'm at a standstil so i am putting all my effort into shifting some more!
Wish me luck! x x
