Phone wars

Hubby has given in to temptation and got himself a new i phone 4. I'm not jealous at all, honest (stamps foot) So on the way back from getting it last night we realised we were running late and thought it was best to phone the MIL to let her know that we're on our way back just running behind.

I checked my samsung jet (which i love) and the poor thing had used up all its battery and died, hubby response to this was to just open up the iphone and make a quick call.

I spat out my water with laughter at this comment because i knew that there was no way in hell that you could just open up a brand new i phone, turn it on and be able to make a call.

So we tested this theory at home, to get the i phone to make a call we had to:

• Put the sim in using an odd tool???
• download the latest version of i tunes
• connect the i phone
• Let it do a software update
• let it re start itself
• Let it sync up

We then went to bed it was 11:30pm

So this morning we

• waited for text messages from the network provider to activate the sim
• turned it on and off again
• and finaly made a call...... at 9am

I think i proved a point there!!! Meanwhile me and my trusty phone sat there and played on twitter smirking.

But i'm not jealous.............honest ;) xxx
