Princes breakfast giveaway

Yesterday I did a bit of promo work for Princes, the people who make tinned fruit and juices etc. Basically I took part in an interesting fun study to see how stressful breakfast was. We measured our heart rates and actually found that breakfast was the most stressful time of the day.

Now having 5 children i agree with this but its not just the stress of getting everyone out of the door on time, it's making sure that the children go to school after a nutritious breakfast feeling satisfied and hopefully full to face the day ahead.

Me and the lovely Nickie went to a local studio to be interviewed by around 10 different presenters and different radio stations talking about the importance of a healthy breakfast and the effect of stress on us mums.

The results of the stress test showed that 30% of the mother's tested had a heart rate rise of over 100%!! during the breakfast routine, that is equivalent to vigorous exercise!!

Princes wanted to show how some simple store cupboard essentials can help make breakfast time easier and provide a bit of variety to the choice of breakfasty meals.

We had a fantastic time recording the interviews, some were live and that required some lightning quick thinking and trying really hard not say 'erm' all the time. I *may* have said 'arse' on the radio at some point but no one noticed....i hope.

Anyway to say thanks Princes have supplied me with a breakfast box to giveaway to one lucky reader.

Its a fab box filled with nice goodies, table mats, children friendly bowls, cups, a nice relaxing candle for you, other fab things and of course some of the princes products :)
